Pleading for the wadi people

“How will they believe in Whom they have not heard?” Romans 10:14b

THE 10:14 Network exists…

to resource Jesus Followers to pray for specific needs among the Wadi People.

The Word of God promises us that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord (Phil. 2:10). But looking around us, the situation seems overwhelming. Over 3 billion people today are a part of ethnic groups where less than 1 out of 50 people are Jesus Followers. Unreached peoples. Over 300 cities in the world today boast a population over a million. Most of them are filled with neighborhoods that do not have even one evangelical church. Unreached places. What difference can you make? To be honest, on your own, not much. But the God of the Bible, “is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think.” (Ephesians 3:20). He has equipped us with the incredible opportunity to join Him in expanding His Kingdom through prayer.

“God has given us prayer as a wartime walkie-talkie so that we can call headquarters for everything we need as the kingdom of Christ advances in the world. Prayer gives us the significance of front-line forces and gives God the glory of a limitless Provider. The one who gives the power gets the glory.”
— John Piper

“’Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:13-14)

We want to invite you to a journey in prayer; pleading for God to move on behalf of the Wadi People. The journey lasts a lifetime but taking the 10:14 Challenge is a great place to begin. Here’s how you get started:

1.    Accept the challenge. As Jesus Followers, we are free to bring our requests to God at any time. But praying consistency requires intentionality. Choose to start investing a few moments each day at 10:14 AM or 10:14 PM, praying for God’s Kingdom to advance among the Wadi People.

2.    Prepare a reminder. To get in a rhythm of praying at 10:14, you’re probably going to need some help. The easiest way to remember is to set an alarm on your phone or watch. Then, each day, when the alarm goes off, pause for a few minutes and ask God to move!

3.    Let us Know. If you are ready to accept the 10:14 Challenge, click the button below. After giving us some basic information, we will start sending you tools to guide your prayer, including weekly emails and a monthly prayer guide. You can also check back on our prayer blog here for those updates or to share specific requests for our team to lift up.

As our network grows, we plan to have updates and prayer times for the Wadi People. We will keep you in the loop for those as well!
